SPECIALIST PROGRAMS
At St Mary's all of our children benefit from specialist programs that enhance their educational experience. All Learning Community classes have three hours of specialist teachers each week:
VISUAL ART:
Our Visual Art teacher, Nicole Potter works with each Learning Community class to develop their skills in
CHINESE (MANDARIN):
Our students in our Middle and Senior Learning Communities (Grade 3-6) all engage in a one hour Chinese lesson per week. This is provided through a video conference with a teacher in China supported by a member of staff at St Mary's. The video conference lesson lasts for approximately 25 minutes and is then followed up with 30 minutes of support and reinforcement activities to embed the students understanding of what has been taught.
