Newsletter Term 3 Week 3 - Friday 8th August 2025

From our Principal
Dear Families,
This week was the Feast of Saint Mary MacKillop; Australia’s first canonised saint. Mary MacKillop is a cherished figure within the Catholic tradition. She was a woman of deep faith, fierce determination, and boundless compassion for the marginalised. Her famous words, “Never see a need without doing something about it,” continue to inspire me and my work in Catholic education. Her story encourages us to stand up for what is right, even when it is difficult. May we continue to follow in Mary MacKillop’s footsteps, responding to the needs around us with courage, kindness, and hope.
This week, our school was buzzing with excitement as we filmed a new promotional video! The video aims to highlight the many wonderful aspects of our school, including our modern facilities, our approach to learning, and the strong wellbeing strategies we have in place to support all students. It was a great opportunity to showcase the vibrant learning environments and the positive, inclusive culture that makes our school such a special place. We are incredibly proud of our staff and students who participated so confidently and authentically throughout the filming.
We look forward to sharing the finished video with you soon. Stay tuned!
Every blessing for the week ahead.
Roxanne
100 Days of School!
This week, our Foundation students dressed up to celebrate 100 days of school.
The theme this year was "colourful". What a fun day of learning for our students!

Sacramental Programme
If your child is interested in completing their Sacraments of Initiation (Reconciliation, Confirmation and Eucharist) please contact the school by the end of August and we will pass on your details to Father Neville.
This programme is open to Baptised students of any age.

Book Week is coming!

We will be holding our Annual Book Week Parade on Friday 22nd August at approx 9.10am
