Newsletter Term 3 Week 8 - Friday 12th September 2025

From our Principal

Dear families,

This week we celebrated St Mary’s Day. We gathered together as a school community to celebrate the Feast of the Nativity of Mary, honouring the birth of Mary, the mother of Jesus. Throughout the day, students explored the special ways Mary is present in our lives:

Mary as Mother (JLC) – caring, nurturing and guiding us with love.
Mary as Queen of Peace (MLC) – inspiring us to live with kindness and harmony.
Mary as Protector – (SLC) reminding us of the embodiment of the special qualities of Mary

Our Middle Learning Community led us in a beautiful Whole School Prayer, where we reflected on Mary’s example and prayed for her intercession in our lives. It was a joyful and reverent way to come together in faith, giving thanks for the gift of Mary and the way she draws us closer to Jesus.

St Mary's Day Student Reflections

Whole School Bug Incursion

This week we were lucky enough to have Landcare visit us for a whole school "Bug Incursion". Students learnt about all different species of bugs and the roles they play within the eco system. Early next term, we will be holding a working bee and tree planting day.
